It’s important that we get enough fluids during the day, especially if you’re nursing or pregnant. I personally get bored with drinking water and need to mix it up now and then.
When I was in the hospital after having my most recent baby girl, one of the nurses made me a drink that she calls her breastfeeding drink. It’s delicious and gives me a boost of goodness. Thankfully, she shared her secret with me, and now I’m addicted. Careful, though, too much and it will make for some very messy diapers, if ya know what I mean.
What goes in this yummy beverage?
First, fill your glass with ice. I used star-shaped ice cubes. Aren’t they fun?! Then pour in equal parts orange juice, pineapple juice, grape juice, cranberry juice, and Sprite. Ginger Ale works well too, especially if you’re still feeling a bit nauseous.
And that’s it! Super easy and incredibly refreshing!
Really, this is a yummy drink whether you’re pregnant or nursing or not… or you’re not even a woman. It’s just flat out delicious.
