Forgive me as I still am trying to get back into the swing of things. In the last couple of months I have added a few things to my already busy schedule, and I’m still trying to get used to it. On top of the busyness, my blog writing inspiration lately has been zilch. Hoping to find some inspiration soon…

Until then, I’d like to share with you my progress on my knitted baby memories quilt. I started it awhile ago {ahem… 5 months}, and I’m not even halfway done. This is why I don’t make blankets. I get bored because they take so long, then I take looooooonnggg breaks from them, then, a year or two, later it’s finally done.

I think the funnest part has been going through my daughter’s box of baby clothes. sigh She was so tiny! She’s getting a kick out of going through the clothes with me too. It’s crazy how many of those little outfits I remember dressing her in, and they sure don’t seem that long ago. It’s wild how quickly time can seem to pass.

Over the weekend I took some time away from my Mary Kay business and my CsqDesigns sweatshop to knit some more little squares and add clothing pieces to them.

It’s a start. A small one, but it’s a start nonetheless. I think my favorite is the little reindeer from her first Christmas outfit.

Until next time…
Happy Crafting!!
Casey 🙂
